The ANL is a complete and total waste of time; hated by the real left (by which I mean the IWCA/Red Action and a handful of others) and by people who vote BNP, in "increasingly large numbers", as Waterson would say.

The ANL is so wrong; wrong tactically, wrong politically, wrong ideologically. But let's look at its tactics. Not unlike its miserable counterparts, the ARA in the USA, every time the BNP (or in the US case; WCOTC, NA etc) does something, or threatens to do something, along comes the ANL to encourage more working people to side with the BNP. Plain hysteria...

ANL look like a bunch of flu-ridden school teachers and during the election some of these heroes decided to leaflet my street. Not only did they get a few slaps from me and my wife, and have their miserable asses chased by our two dogs (just for fun), they also had other locals telling them where to go. They were totally rejected.

Their every appearance in a white area seems to lead to more support for the BNP, and no wonder. What are they offering the good ol' white voter, like me? Unrestricted immigration and asylum seekers? More drains on resources? Less for us, more for them? More homosexuals polluting my daughters minds? More crime? More crap social workers allowed to get away with murder? More of the same?

OK, the BNP don't fool me with their respectability chit chat, but they'll get my vote every time because they're pro me, pro family values, anti-liberalism and a whole lot more.

After the ANL tossers had leafletted our street they went off to a neaby pub. The working class heroes of "permanent revolution deferred" (that's their nonsensical theory, by the way!) got into an argument with a guy I know whose son had been abused by a local paedophile, who, incidentally, doesn't live locally any longer since we set his house, and him, on fire. These morons were arguing that the age of consent should be "lowered to 14", that "paedophiles were the real victims" and that a "sexual revolution" was what we needed.

Suffice to say that the ANL members responsible for this very real aural outrage left the pub minus a few teeth.
A typical example of how far removed from reality these dimwits are.

As a newbie to this discussion board, I find that I would never support the IWCA because, despite agreeing with some of its policies about drug dealers (shoot them first, ask questions later), council housing, antisocial behaviour and so on, I can't agree with its pro-asylum, Pro-IRA stance. Neither can I agree with its hidden agenda and forcing integration in schools. Like me, a lot of people can read between the IWCA's lines, although the battle has not yet begun because it's all the IWCA can do to keep going.

Despite all the laudatory words and self-congratulation, the IWCA will only ever succeed in a handful of inner-city and suburban slums (Hackney being one). The BNP says what people like me think even though I would never join it and don't really appreciate its pompous leader.
