Neol, It is easy to go over the last thirty years (Or is it 800 years), to find an incident to present as sectarian. If I remember right, the Kingsmill deaths cam after the UVF had did a similar deed (Miami Showband incident?).

And if as you say it was for simply being Protestant, then that is indeed sectarian!

Like all liberation movements the Republican movement, has evolved into the organisation that it is now, and the fact that the incident you site as sectarian, was over 26 years ago I think clarifies that the movement is NOT sectarian!

As a dead German once said " if we don't learn from out history, then we are destined to repeat it"!

I think it can be safely said that Republicans have and do learn from their mistakes, and continue to look for better ways to take the UNITED struggle forward with the community.
