I assume that the poster is refering to an alleged 'sectarian' incident, I am not sure of the details on that so I can't comment. Other than to say that the UDA/UFF/LVF and UVF/RHC are the equivalent to South Africa's Inkatha movement, used as a Kitson counter gangs to undermine, kill and destroy the liberation movements.

However the proof is in the pudding, overwhelmingly loyalism is reactionary and sectarian, we only have to look at the events over the last few weeks never mind the last few years!

Republicanism is progressive, which is why there is a peace process, loyalism has no where to go and nothing to offer. Which is why is NOT only turns in on its self, but also lashes out at the nationalist community, indiscriminately killing people for being Catholic or in the belief that they are Catholic.

Unfortuneatly the Protestant working class are tied to an reactionary ideology - loyalism - I sincerely hope that they can be persuaded that they should embrace the peace process and in the process identify with the real Presbyterian history of the North, and build a new Irish Republic.
