As far as I am aware the IWCA itself has never argued its position with the left. As you say, no point. What the IWCA has focused on is seeing how the startegy works on the ground in working class areas. The exact opposite as you also note of lobbying etc. However it might be mistaken to see the IWCA as it was pre May 2 as a series of 'pilot schemes' or as 'a kernel' without a longterm strategy or ambition. A look at the original sponsors suggests otherwise.
