Oh please! The RUC and Gardai have been working hand in hand against republicans for years, and they ain't going to stop because of what Adams may, or may not have said, in a particular context.

Maybe, just maybe, the gardai had enough info to prevent the bombing, or knew its exact location. Maybe, just maybe, they DID share this with the PSNI/RUC. And maybe the RUC allowed the bombing to go ahead anyway to show the world that republicans were still up to their old tricks.

Maybe, just maybe, Adams (if he has) has made this call to expose the real agenda of the security establishment. But then, that would kind of bugger your 'Adams-as-lackey-of-imperialism' idiocy, wouldn't it?

Anyway, it's hard not to support the party line when they have so consistently taken the correct one.
