Just in case anyone thought that Tommy Trot and co were up to the Job of filling the Vacuum in Scotland- heres their "Analysis" of the BNP result. Total dismissal of the BNP in short.

"Out of an electorate of 20 million, they received just 30,000 votes. Even though they received millions of pounds of free publicity in the run-up to the English elections, the BNP managed to muster the support of just one in 2,000 eligible voters.
Since the elections the party has been given wall-to-wall coverage on TV and in the press to promote their bitter, twisted, fascist politics. The BNP are not just another right wing political party. Their politics are the politics of the master race whose ambition is to whip up a racial civil war. They would ban elections, outlaw trade unions, and turn Britain into a nazi dictatorship over the bones and blood of millions. The BNP's former leader, John Tyndall, used to dress up in nazi regalia to celebrate the anniversary of Hitler's birthday. Their new fuhrer, Nick Griffin, describes the BNP as "a strong disciplined organisation with the ability to defend its slogan 'Defend rights for whites' with well directed boots and fists."
He adds: "When the crunch comes, power is the product of force and will, not of rational debate." In Burnley, the party promised that it would clamp down on criminals and introduce a 'get tough' law and order policy. Yet the BNP has a sordid track record of psyc hopathic violence. In the past, a number of its leaders have been jailed for cowardly assaults on members of ethnic minority communities.

In Scotland, the BNP has never been able to organise openly. Whenever they have tried to spread their message of hate, they have been driven off the streets. Their support is derisory. The last time they stood in Scotland, in the European elections of 1999, they were humiliated with just 0.3 per cent of the vote. The Scottish Socialist Party is committed to opposing nazism by any means necessary. We will stand alongside other anti-fascists to physically prevent the BNP from organising anywhere in Scotland.
And we will continue to annihilate them at the ballot box by offering genuine anti-establishment politics in the form of red-blooded socialism.
