What ever the reason the IRA unit responsible for Enniskillen was stood down Noel, the attitude of the republican movement stands in marked contrast to the attitudes of Unionist politicians like Willie McCrea MP (with his public lauding of secterian murderer King Rat), much less the public decorations from the Queen no less for those for responsible for cold-blooded murder on Bloody Sunday. Nor indeed was Bloody Sunday unique. There is also the Dublin Monogahn bombing. Plus a number of other incidents where civilians were deliberately killed in relatively large numbers (6)where there never even has been an inquiry much less a public rebuke, unlike the one the IRA Army Council delivered in response to Enniskillen. What was your point again?
