Just to add what could be a slightly more controversial point, shouldn't we welcome middle-class people to help fight in the class struggle?

We should welcome there help - but they lack an understanding of the realities of W/C life. They can help, or join or whatever, but they should not lead it. look at what happened to the SWP/SP etc etc with a middle class leadership.
