WARNING: Bogus Anti-Fascist List called 'Smash the Nazis' - September2001
This information was sent to us recently about a bogus anti-fascist list called SmashTheNazis. This is a Yahoo group called SmashTheNazis, originally announced to the UKLeftNetwork. It was checked out and is, apparently, a trap.

Anti-Fascists should NOT join this group or any similar list unless they know it is sound. It is easy for anyone to set up a list claiming to be anything. The purpose of this bogus group is undoubtedly to entrap anti-fascists - people should not touch it unless they know exactly what they are doing in terms of using anonymous and untraceable e-mail - if in doubt don't do it! The address is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SmashTheNazis

Finally it might be advisable for people checking fascists sites like RedWatch to use a web utility like Safe Web which masks your computer's address. You can find details of this at: https://www.safeweb.com
