C'mon Paul. Do you mean to tell me the Loyalists had nothing to do with the peace deal? As for more terrorism not less, it is a wake up call to the left that many ordinary civillians and workers like the firemen who died will now leave behind more right-wing and reactionary kin. I do believe the Americans when they say it has united them, because they are the most simple, arrogant and ignorant of all people. The PIRA bought the Brits to the table not by killing hundreds of kids'parents, but by targetting the economic infrastructure of imperialist rule. The murder of innocents seems to only harden resolve of governments to continue with their unpopular policies. It is business not human lives being destroyed that brings them to the table. I believe it was the right action, at the wrong time of day. All human life must have some value.
