No one doubts the the collective heroism of hunger strikers. However, it is - quite simply - a disasterous tactic that is objectively doing the work of Turkish state for them. (That is, it is wiping out an important layer of the most active, the most heroic and self-sacrificing of Turkish revolutionaries).
The action has prompted no mass solidarity movement in Europe - unsurprisingly, as it has not been able to create a mass protest movement in Turkey either. In these circumstances, do you not think it is legitimate for revolutionaries in other countries to express their grave concerns at the stubborn refusal of the leadership of these comrades to consider a retreat - or do you think it's just our job to shout "hurrah" or even "long live x, y or z" as yet another of our brave comrades disappear over the precipice?
It ain't Aziz Demir who sounds like a shit-head, matey.
