Craig,
Of course White anti-racists can oppose Minister Farrakhan. My only comment would be, "What's the point ?" It will be like a circus outside his "gigs" with 57 varieties of Trots and Black Nationalists all vying for the attention of the Media. By and large he'll be preaching to the converted anyway and I feel the that those attending will be completely indisposed to a bunch of White people trying to preach class solidarity etc.. They want to hear Farrakhan talk about Black Businesses, Separation, Black racial superiority, UFO's, "Yacub's History" etc., etc.. Not that all this will have the slightest political impact. Although many Blacks in this country preach a watered down form of Separation, in reality they are politically wedded to the liberal establishment. Black Nationalist organisations, including the NOI, are minuscule and still will be long after the Minister has boarded his plane home. Can you really imagine Blacks in this country demanding and actually fighting for their own homeland within the UK ?!...Ha Ha Ha......They talk a lot of 'fire and brimstone' ('No Justice, No Peace'.....'By Any Means Necessary' etc.) but the political work they do is piss and they land up propping up the liberal status quo and accommodating themselves to it....(did anybody mention Lee Jasper and Marc 'the British Malcolm X' Wadsworth ?!). Anyway. it's not as if Blacks are even the largest Ethnic minority (they are outnumbered two-to-one by Asians). I say leave them to it.
