Well Austin who exactly are the boys, and girls for that matter,
who are called upon to defend the nationalist working class from the British state, why members of
that self same nationalist working class of course.
As for your denigration of national liberation struggles, they have been eminently
more successful than utopian schemas you seem to favour. Hasn't it struck you that the division
of the island of Ireland by British Imperialism, has acted as a vast obstacle to the development
of class politics in Ireland as a whole (and for that matter in England as well). You may well dismiss
this as old stalinist stages theory, but name calling doesn't disprove its validity.
Fundamentally your problem seems to be that you are so disgusted with the world you inhabit that you are incapable of engaging with as it is, and would rather inhabit some dreamed of revolutionary other world (located in the past and the futue but never in the present). This may be comforting for you as a disgruntled individual, but it isn't a lot of use to anybody else.
