As a "Yank" myself, and as someone who generally does not approve of the death penalty, I'll be glad to see McVeigh get the chair.

As far as I'm concerned, when you undertake to kill dozens or hundreds of people (168, it turned out) just to make a point, any argument you might have turns to dust. The proof is in the deed, and McVeigh showed us amply where he really stands. This kind of "concern" we can do without.

The far-right likes to bitch and moan about the big bad repressive state when they're out of power, but this act shows what the likes of McVeigh would do if they ever did attain power.

Again, 168 people, including dozens of little kids, are dead because this idiot couldn't adjust to life outside the military. This guy is a fascist psycho and the world will be a better place without him.

BTW, if we're talking about Iraq, McVeigh racked up a body count over there, too, during the Gulf War.
