Anyone who follows discussions on the UK left network will be aware that there has been for some time a split between SA supporters such as Lawrie and the official (SWP dominated) SA line, for a good example of this see Phil Hamiltons post when the BNP result came out. Reality is now beginning to perculate up the Ladder that the alliance with the Liberals and Serarchlight is unsustainable. Had Red Action AFA and others been heded months ago perhaps the BNP advance could have been avoided. This is of relevence to Scotland because although the BNP have made no major intervention they have begun to hover around the Refuggee situation in Sighthill in Glasgow. Lets hope the SSP can learn from the mistakes of the English left.
