Left Communism

If we can desist from attacks on the IRSP and necessitated defence of the same for a moment, I wanted to ask about Red Action's present position relative to one stated in their paper back in about 1990.
Without digging through files to come up with the particulars, I'll simply
say that sometime between 1989 and 1992, Red Action published a statement rejecting a Leninist interpretation
of Marxism. As a Council
Communist myself, I was quite impressed by the analysis contained in the piece.
It appears to me, however, that Red Action has subsequently moved away from a revolutionary Left
Communist analysis back into the Leninist camp. Could someone here shed some light on what took
place internally which led originally to the adopting of a Left Communist position in opposition to
Leninism in the early 1990s and the subsequent return to Leninism? I'm afraid that I only irregularly
received copies of your publicatoin over the years and have long been curious about what took place
around this issue.
