Yes you are right the previous posting was a little patronising and while
I take your point on board I have never offered myself up as an expert on any
subject I leave that to weekly worker and their merry band. But I have to ask
and perhaps present it all a little bit better for you, are those engaged in
the site anti imperialists because that my friend must be our starting point
as a basic principle.
Maybe it would be better if I were to state my political affilations as a member
of the Revolutionary Communist Group. Our organisation has been working consistantly
in solidarity with Cuban socialism, and my comrades have written a lot about
their learning experiances in support of the revolution, and you can read this
if you like on our website revolutionarycommunist.com.
We could talk and read about Cuban elections and as I said elsewhere further study is required by people like ourselves, I am proud to be a part of all of this learning process with my ears open, I do all of this in the anti imperialist spirit those of us engaged in struggle should share. Lets not get all bitter and twisted about this, I would welcome comments from people who read this, on the whole issue of Cuban demoracy and socialism, And it would be a lot better if the lies of the CIA were kept aside to those who get off on such material.
A quick point on who can and can not take part in Cuban elections, individuals OUTSIDE the communist party do stand, and why all this need for other parties to stand when the peoples interests are fought for by the revolutionary government.
Time is now against me I will take up the varios points in reply to E. Faulkner on another date.
As for your comments on Cuba being a haven for child abusers, what you do their is place yourself along side the gutter press and you go from the concerned individual you I have no doubt are, to the lackey and peddler of lies I am sure you do not want to be.
