Just a short comment on the misunderstandings on the situation with the "unelected
government of Cuba" in fact if E.Faulkner had taken some time out to check the
facts he or she would understand their are free elections in Cuba, a country
as I stated elsewhere is at the forefront of the anti imperialist struggle in
the world today.
And one of the difficulties with discussion sities like these is
we have to have a working assuption that those paricipating have knowledge of
the nature of imperialism and how it effects a "democratic party like SF" How
on earth can we even talk of democracy in either of the partitionist states
in Ireland whilest British Imperialism and its Irish capitalist lackeys rule
Ireland. It is in fact a crime against human progress. Once again in the respect
of the gains of the socialist revolution and what it means to the world, we
as socialists and communists must engage in a serious debate and merly ignoring
the Cuban people and its revolution can only serve the imperialists. I look
forward to a serious examination of Cuban democracy among the Red ACtion comrades
and others on these pages.
