I think the 60 odd votes the lSA recently acquired in a three horse race in a council by- election Stratford in east London recently is a reason enough for quite optimism. Not only does it show that the east end working class are firmly behind the LSA, but confirmation of this huge surge in suport can be gauged by the local SWP organiser claiming that the lSA recruited '14 people during the campaign'. Quick artihmetic reveals this to be 20/% of those that voted for the LSA! If the same ratio of voter/recrutiment continues power can not lie far behind. Unless of course it was just another SWP type porky?
