There are 13.3 million schoolkids in the country. Around a third 4.3 million officially live in poverty. While 7% of that 13.3 million go to public schools. That 7% take up approx 50% of university places. That leaves the another 50% for the remaining 93% of the total population. Now while not all the middle classes go to public school, what percentage of the remaining 50% do you imagine they eat up?
