Sir Herman Ouseley attacked Labour at the weekend who he accused of
favouring Asians over African-Caribbeans. According to him there is a 'pecking order'.
Black people felt "resentful" he said. "There is a feeling. and
not just among leading African- Carribeans, that there is a marginalisation and that there is a pecking order,
almost a hierarchy. of ethnicities"
The person speaking of 'resentment' and 'pecking orders' in case you don't know is the former head of the Campaign for Racial Equality. As such, he as much as anyone has popularised the notion of 'ethnicities' the 'promotion of diversity' 'affirmative action' and 'positive discrimination'.
Meanwhile his own office was chock a block full of charlatans like himself, is rumoured to be wracked by petty jealousies and strife amongst races. It is widely known that Asains generally regard blacks as inferior. This was the cause of resentment in his regime. But not only did he get rich poncing about he got a knighthood out of it. What a hypocrite, Now rather than turn on a fellow minority he turns on Blair probably for not making him Lord or something.
Meanwhile he makes a career out of promoting diversity and then complains about pecking orders. Well a racial pecking order is the inevitable outcome from the promotion of diversity surely?
He does all this and then complains about 'resentment'? Maybe he should try being a working class white for change, and look at the world he helped create through our eyes?
