gizza job

A great shame this forum is closing down - especially as the only alternative, Urban75, is full of trots and anarcho's who spend all day talking shite.

Good luck to Red Action in your future ventures, especially in the iwca (£5 a year membership - bargain!). I credit you with making me realise the futility of life on the trot Left.

Bollocks to the middle-class! Up the working-class! Sealadaigh abu!

So long, farewell etc, to those I have agreed with and disagreed with. This site has been a part of my life for a few years- especially the articles and analysis. Hopefully, a few fash have seen the light.

All the best. See anyone who is interested on the UK left network Yahoo discussion forum

So I'm not the only Sky Blue on here. Respect.

Not because it was saying exactly what I wanted to hear but because it was, unlike many Left sites, able to articulate a fiercely pro-working class agenda like no other. Disagreements yeah i've had them, ideas challenged, yup that too, but most importantly solid working-classideasdefended by working class activists.

Cheers chaps/chapesses

And a merry Xmas to Thomas Koner, Tobireg, Raffles, Jim, Portman, Huw, JC, Jimmy et al

And to Lletsa..... 'Bluuuuuuuuuee moooooooooooooon......'

With regard to the forum closing down, it's disappointing news - and much of what I'd like to say has already been said. But, in the spirit of keeping the battle ideas going at all costs, I'd like to ask Scouser why he's so keen to preserve the class system. 'Long Live The Working Class' is identical in meaning to 'Long Live Capitalism'.

I know I haven't been on here much recently due to the pressures of grassroots political work but I will miss the debates on here. It has certainly been an interesting experience debating with members and supporters of right wing and nationalistic groups to say the least! Odd though it may sound it has been an enjoyable one as well - it makes a change debating with people who are open and unashamed about there opinions and don't mind admitting it. It's only when people are honest that a debate on contentious issues such as race, identity, nationalism vs class can take place.

Does the sectarian mud pit that is Urban75 beckon? A place where no matter what subject you might be expressing an opinion on, you are always held to account for your political allegience by some sect obsessed trot with too much time on their hands. Nah sod it! - I'll just go out and spend more time pounding the streets for the IWCA branch I'm in than waste my life in there!

LLETSA, Raffles, Thomas Koner, Jim (Spiked), Liberty Boy, Skinny, Tiptonian / Sir Reginald......too many to mention. Some of you I have agreed with and appreciated your back up in a debate. Others I've had some pretty heated rows with but still enjoyed getting stuck in!

It's probably a testament to the success of the IWCA that this is happening. Even though I haven't posted here for a while, it's been a really useful and informative place to argue the toss.

Cheers, RA.
